Pay only through the payment methods shown in Irembo.
Save the application number and respond to agency messages or collection instructions.

Do not treat a search-result snippet, consultant message, social-media post, or an old PDF as the current rule. Open the notice or service page, follow links inside that page, and save the reference number generated after submission. If a portal times out, take a screenshot of the error and contact the authority through the contact method printed on its own website rather than paying an intermediary.

Documents and preparation checklist

National ID, passport, or other evidence specified by the service.
Supporting certificates in the accepted format.
Phone number and email that you control.
Payment receipt and application number.

Scan documents in colour, keep readable file names, and retain the originals. Where a translation, legalisation, apostille, certified copy, language test, or professional registration is required, confirm who is allowed to certify it and whether the document must be recent. Never upload a passport or bank statement to a domain that is not the official authority or the institution named in the notice.

Common mistakes and practical fixes

Mistake: Giving a service agent control of your account credentials.
Mistake: Arriving for collection without checking status.

If your circumstances are unusual—dual nationality, a name change, an interrupted qualification, a previous refusal, an expired document, or a disability requiring an adjustment—ask the authority in writing before submitting. Keep both the question and the reply with your application evidence. A paid adviser cannot override a statutory rule or guarantee an outcome.
