South Korea TOPIK Registration: Test Levels, Score Use, and Official Booking

The Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK) portal publishes registration notices, test locations, identification rules, results, and score services. Dates and overseas registration arrangements can differ by country. Check the notice for your location and the institution or immigration authority that will receive the score.

Booking checklist

1. Confirm whether TOPIK I, TOPIK II, or a specific paper is required.
2. Read the current location, ID, photograph, payment, and cancellation rules.
3. Register through the official portal or the authorised local office named there.
4. Save the receipt and candidate number.
5. Download results through the official service when released.

Using a score

A TOPIK level is not universal admission or visa approval. Universities, employers, and government programmes may set their own validity period, minimum level, or score-report format. Ask the receiving body whether an online result, certificate, or direct report is required.
